8 Days Kenya Tour Itinerary.

Day1: Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi JKIA, where you are met and transferred to your city hotel, Eka Hotel on Bed & Breakfast

Day2: Nairobi/Samburu

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through central Kenya and north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving Samburu Sopa Lodge in time lunch. Afternoon safari safari game drive.

Day3: Samburu National Reserve

Full day in Samburu, with an early morning and late afternoon safari safari game drive. Samburu is a beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Optional activities include a visit to a local Samburu village, camel riding and guided nature and bird walks. All meals and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day4: Samburu -Ol -Pejeta Conservancy

Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive to the Ol Pejeta in Nanyuki With the snowy peaks of Mt. Kenya as your backdrop, your safari in East Africa’s largest black rhino sanctuary is sure to be as beautiful as it is diverse. Find yourself and the Big Five as you explore 90,000 acres of pure wild with an experienced guide who will share his expert knowledge with you. Venture out there for close encounters with elephants, wild dog, lion, hyena, buffalo, cheetah, rhino, and all the plains herbivores. Early morning and evening are the best times to explore the Conservancy, as predators are on the hunt and their prey is on high alert. Arrive for lunch. After lunch, enjoy safari safari game drives in the park.

Day5: Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart Mountain Lodge in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley – to Lake Nakuru National Park making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Arrive –Flamingo Hill Camp- in time for lunch. Afternoon safari safari game drive.
Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx. 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at -Flamingo Hill Camp.

Day6: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara

After breakfast depart for Masai Mara, one of East Africa’s most famous reserves, The Masai Mara Mara consists of undulating hills and great rolling grasslands that sustain some of the most varied wildlife in Africa, if not the world. Arrive in time for lunch at –Mara Sarova Luxury Tented Camp.
Afternoon safari game viewing in the Masai Mara reserve, where lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelle and other plains game abound, not forgetting the hundreds of species of birds. Arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon safari safari game drive.

Day7: Maasai Mara

Spend full day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. safari safari game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon safari safari game drives.
