The most amazing experience ever

I thought I would wait a week and reflect on our holiday to East Africa, just to ensure I write a true and accurate review. A week on and my thoughts and experiences have not altered at all. This holiday was 2 years in the planning and the memories will last forever.

Firstly I reviewed about 4 tour companies before I chose East Africa Adventures. To take a family of 6 on a holiday to the other side of the world, I needed to make sure that everything was perfect. Fred’s communication right from the start made me feel confident that this was the right company to go with. No matter what I asked, it was never an issue and he always responded within a day.

We spent one night in Nairobi and then a few nights in Kenya visiting Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. Kizito was our guide. He was great, very kind and extremely funny. He seemed to be able to place his van away from others, but it was always where the animals would end up going and we always seem to have front position. We saw a cheetah hunt a gazelle and all the Big 5 animals.

We were then handed over to George at the Tanzanian border. We were sad to say goodbye to Kizito, but right from the start George had us all captivated with his stories about the people and the country. We travelled through Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti, where we had a hot air balloon ride. George was very kind and truly amazing, he seemed to take us away from the other tour vehicles to find our own animals – again we saw the Top 5, plus many, many more. We can’t thank him enough.

The accommodation that Fred put us in was fantastic. Each afternoon we arrived at a new place and were pleasantly surprised. The food was awesome at each place. The people so friendly. I think OMG and WOW became our standard vocabulary.

There were so many highlights, I wouldn’t know where to start. Fred, Kitzito and George made our holiday just perfect.

Fred even organised our transfer from our hotel in Arusha to the airport, where we had Saba who we had seen on Safari in another vehicle. Even the short time we had with him was fun and interesting.

Well done East Africa Adventure Tours and Safari.
